This week, Archbishop Allen Vigneron announced the following appointments:
Fr. Jack J. Quinlan, appointed administrator, St. Theodore of Canterbury Parish, Westland, effective July 1. Fr. Quinlan has been serving as pastor of St. John the Baptist Parish, Monroe.
Fr. James A. Smalarz, appointed pastor, St. John the Baptist Parish, Monroe, effective July 1. Fr. Smalarz has been serving as pastor of St. Christopher Parish, Detroit.
Fr. James F. Wieging, appointed pastor, St. Francis Xavier Parish, Ecorse, effective July 1, in addition to continuing responsibilities as pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, River Rouge, and chaplain at Metropolitan Airport, Detroit.
