Mass of appreciation to be offered for Michigan Catholic subscribers, readers and supporters
The Michigan Catholic Published May 21, 2010
DETROIT — The Michigan Catholic newspaper is offering a Mass of Thanksgiving in honor of our subscribers, readers and supporters. The Mass will be celebrated at St. Louise de Marillac Church in Warren, at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 1 by Msgr. Thomas Rice, editor in chief.
Our newspaper has a 137-year legacy that keeps The Michigan Catholic a long standing beacon of good news serving the Archdiocese of Detroit. We could not accomplish our mission without you. Your interest and dedication is appreciated. During these trying times, when people are seeking answers to so many challenges, when personal and family budgets are strained, and when the future seems unclear, we count your continued interest in keeping your subscription active as a significant part of our success.
We offer thanks in advance for blessings granted to you for your ongoing support of the paper. We count on your continued interest. Devoted supporters of The Michigan Catholic are quiet blessings to all those who read and look forward to reading their paper each week.
Remember that you will be remembered in a Mass of appreciation on June 1.
Prayer of thanksgiving
Thank you God for the many blessings bestowed on The Michigan Catholic. We offer sincere thanks for all who support the paper. Without their interest in knowing more about their faith and their desire to keep current about the Good News, we could not have been faithful to our mission for 137 years. We ask you, Lord, to bless all our subscribers and readers, and we ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
