Baseball Championships and Award Ceremony Information

The 2025 Baseball Championships are set for Thursday, May, 22 at The Corner Ballpark.  See below for details.

  • Parking: Please click here for potential parking locations. 
  • Admission: $10 cash for everyone. CHSL Administrative passes and school faculty i.d.’s will be accepted for one free admission.
  • Gates open at 9:15
  • Teams may start to arrive at 9 a.m.
    • Home teams will be in the third base dugout. Visiting teams will be in the first base dugout.
    • Honor team members from every game will be presented their medals before pregame introductions.

10 am Cardinal Championship game

Lutheran North (visitors) vs Divine Child (home)

Pregame: Honor team presentation for members from both schools and JV sectional champions

Postgame: Trophy and medal presentation

12 pm Ste. Anne Championship game

Shrine (visitor) vs Greenhills (home)

Pregame: Honor team presentation for members from both schools

Postgame: Trophy and medal presentation

Walt Bazylewicz Female Athlete of the Year presentation to finalists and the winner

2 pm Bishop Semifinal game one

Brother Rice (visitor) vs St. Mary’s Prep (home)

Pregame: Nothing

Postgame: Nothing

4 pm Bishop Semifinal game two

St. John’s Jesuit (visitor) vs De La Salle (home)

Pregame: Nothing

Postgame: Baseball Honor Team presentation, Sectional championship presentation, Excellence in Teaching (Teacher of the Year) presentation, Retired Educators presentation, Bazy Winning Edge scholarship presentation, Bishop John Quinn Teacher of the Year presentation, and Walt Bazylewicz Male Athlete of the Year presentation

6 pm Bishop Championship

Winner of Semifinal game one vs Winner of Semifinal game two (dugouts will be assigned after Semifinal game two)

Pregame: Honor team presentation for members from both teams. Ceremonial first pitch.

Postgame: Trophy and medal presentation
