CHSL Fall Meetings

The Catholic High School League officially begins its 100th year as athletic directors, administrators, and varsity head coaches gather for the annual CHSL Fall Meetings.

The day will begin with meetings for athletic department personnel, providing important updates on league policies, championship procedures, sportsmanship initiatives, and plans for the 2026-27 school year. The evening session will welcome varsity head coaches from across the league as they prepare for another year of competition rooted in faith, leadership, and excellence.

While the meetings serve as an opportunity to share information and prepare for the upcoming fall season, they also represent the official start of a historic milestone. The 2026-27 school year marks the Centennial of the Catholic High School League, making the CHSL the oldest continuously operating high school athletic league in Michigan.

For the past century, the CHSL has remained committed to developing young men and women through educational athletics while fostering sportsmanship, integrity, community, and faith. Thousands of student-athletes, coaches, administrators, officials, and supporters have helped shape the League's remarkable history since its founding in 1926.

As the Centennial year begins, the CHSL looks forward to honoring its rich tradition while continuing to build a strong future for generations of student-athletes. Special events and recognitions celebrating 100 years of the Catholic High School League will take place throughout the school year.
