St. Francis struck early with a pair of first-period goals, but the Shamrocks battled back behind balanced scoring and relentless effort. Catholic Central tied the game in the second period and later took the lead when Lucas Szmagaj buried the game-winning rebound with just over six minutes remaining — his second goal of the night and the decisive tally in a classic finish.
