Girls Basketball Champions are Crowned

Ste. Anne Division Championship
Everest Collegiate High School & Academy captured its third straight CHSL Ste. Anne Division Girls Basketball Championship with a 58-47 victory over Gabriel Richard High School in a thrilling title matchup.
The championship contest was tightly contested throughout, with the two teams locked in a 43-43 tie heading into the fourth quarter. Everest Collegiate elevated its defensive pressure and executed down the stretch, outscoring Gabriel Richard 15-4 in the final frame to secure the decisive win.
With the victory, Everest cements its place atop the Ste. Anne Division, continuing an impressive championship run and establishing itself as one of the league’s premier programs.
Cardinal Division Championship
In the CHSL Cardinal Division Championship, St. Catherine of Siena Academy earned its second consecutive title with a hard-fought 57-52 victory over Lutheran High School North.
St. Catherine of Siena showcased poise and composure in the closing minutes, holding off a determined Lutheran North squad to repeat as Cardinal Division champions. The back-to-back championships highlight the sustained excellence and competitive consistency of the program.
The Catholic High School League congratulates Everest Collegiate and St. Catherine of Siena on their championship performances, as well as Gabriel Richard and Lutheran North for outstanding seasons and competitive championship efforts.
