Hall of Fame Class of 2026 Announced
The Catholic High School League (CHSL), in partnership with the Catholic Coaches Association (CCA), proudly announces the Hall of Fame Class of 2026. This year’s class represents excellence across generations of student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and contributors who have made a lasting impact on the CHSL and its member schools.
The 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Fern Hill Golf Club, where these outstanding individuals and award recipients will be honored for their achievements and contributions to Catholic education-based athletics.
Special Award Honorees
This year’s class features several prestigious CHSL and CCA award recipients:
- Ben Kerfoot – Tom Kelly Athletic Director of the Year
- Mitch Hancock – Ed Lauer Person of the Year
- Dearborn Divine Child – School of the Year
- Gary Morris – Vic Michaels Coach of the Year
Hall of Fame Inductees
The 2026 Hall of Fame class includes a distinguished group of former student athletes, coaches, and administrators whose accomplishments have left a lasting legacy:
- Ava Brizard – Marian & NC State
- Lucas Cross – Everest Collegiate & Franciscan University
- Greta Gidley – Mercy & Hope College
- Derek Gilcher – Detroit Catholic Central & Indiana University
- Allen Robinson II – St. Mary’s Prep & Penn State
- Amina Robinson – Mercy & George Washington University
- Grace Rotter – Marian & Slippery Rock
- Sarah Sylvester – Marian & TCU
- Grace Zdankiewicz – Regina & Xavier University
Coaches Honored for Excellence
The CHSL also recognizes a remarkable group of coaches whose leadership and dedication have shaped countless student-athletes:

- Drew Edson – Swimming (Mercy & U of D Jesuit)
- Rebecca Hendren – Cross Country/Track (Regina)
